 Gas generator
Gas generation stations can be categorized based on the type of coal used for gasification, including stations for gasifying bituminous coal, lignite, and other coal types, as well as stations for gasifying anthracite, coke, and other coal types. According to the degree of gas cooling and purification, gas generation stations are further divided into cold gas generation stations and hot gas generation stations. Currently, most of the generator gas stations used by enterprises utilize bituminous coal as the gasification coal, primarily because the gas produced from gasifying bituminous coal has a higher calorific value, which is beneficial for enhancing the calorific value. If the cleanliness of the fuel is not a high requirement, and to improve the thermal efficiency of the system, a higher gas temperature is preferred, hot gas generation stations are generally chosen.
One-stage gas generators produce hot gas by gasifying bituminous coal, and these gas stations often face hazards such as tar clogging the pipelines. Therefore, some hot gas stations have begun to convert their gas generators into two-stage gas generators. The results show that after switching to a two-stage gas generator, the calorific value of the gas increases by 10-15% compared to a one-stage gas generator, and the gas pressure remains relatively stable. The phenomenon of pipeline blockage is significantly reduced, and the environmental benefits are also notably improved.
Biomass carbonization
In response to the current issues in the biomass energy utilization industry, Huichuan Environmental Protection Company, together with industry colleagues, has promoted the biomass carbonization co-production project, making new attempts and explorations to address some of the industry's problems. By fully utilizing the wide range of biomass resources, various agricultural and forestry wastes (including various straws containing lignocellulose, corn cob, rice husk, branch wood, etc.) are processed through a new type of rapid carbonization furnace and supporting facilities using continuous carbonization co-production technology, and separation, filtration, purification, and other process technologies are utilized to produce various specifications of environmentally friendly smokeless charcoal, carbon powder, and a large amount of high-quality biomass gas. At the same time, wood tar and wood vinegar are extracted and separated. The carbonized flue gas is purified into gas for steam boiler production, which is used by rural households for cooking, bathing, and heating; it is also used in conjunction with generator sets to generate electricity, achieving comprehensive utilization of charcoal, oil, liquid, gas, fertilizer, and electricity. The project can realize the comprehensive utilization of agricultural and forestry wastes, turning waste into treasure, truly forming a complete virtuous cycle of biological chains. It represents a major breakthrough in the research, development, and industrialization of biomass energy and various wastes.
