The aggravation of air pollution has aroused people's attention to the pollution of volatile organic compounds. For major pollution of volatile organic compounds, countries have long strict emission standards, all over the region, especially Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other issued more stringent emission standards. The state for pollution control of volatile organic compounds have been issued policy, especially in May 2010, in the notice of the general office of the State Council environmental protection department and other departments on promoting the joint prevention and control of air pollution and improve regional air quality guidelines (issued 2010 Document No. 33), for the first time, and sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds nitrogen oxides, particulate pollutants were determined in parallel key joint prevention and control of air pollution, effectively promoted the pace of governance of volatile organic pollutants. Since then, under the guidance of many national policies, the climax of volatile organic pollution control has been set off. In March 5, 2014, the State Ministry of science and technology and the Ministry of environmental protection jointly issued the "advanced technology" compilation of air pollution prevention and control; recently, Chinese Environmental Protection Industry Association Committee held the "purification of volatile organic pollutants in the Fifth National Beijing (VOCs) emission reduction and control conference, to further promote the VOCs governance climax.
To cope with this governance climax, according to the "advanced technology" compilation of air pollution prevention and control of volatile organic compounds on the content of VOCs in some published in harnessing some experience to share with colleagues. Most of the content is based on the recycling process.
1 general classification and main treatment processes of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
1.1VOCs governance technology classification
VOCs governance technology is generally divided into two categories: recovery technology and elimination technology (1). Recovery technology includes: condensation, absorption and adsorption (including PSA) and membrane separation; elimination techniques generally include combustion method (including catalytic combustion, regenerative combustion), plasma decomposition method, biological decomposition, photocatalytic oxidation, etc..
The processing techniques described above are familiar to everyone. These techniques and methods are generally applied to a single pollutant or a mixture of less or more closely related gas. But in the concrete project, what everybody encounters is often the complex compound exhaust gas. In this kind of gas treatment, the first problem is the choice of treatment process.
1.2VOCs main process
In the near future, the Ministry of science and technology and the Ministry of environmental protection jointly issued the "air pollution prevention and control technology in the first compilation", summed up the 18 VOCs governance processes. These governance processes provide us with a wide range of governance processes, applications, scope of adaptation and general costs. Basic suggestions are given for the control of volatile organic waste gases. However, due to a wide variety of volatile organic waste, it can not be written in detail, and many things need to be explored and summarized through practice.
2, control the characteristics of volatile organic waste gas
2.1, there are many objects of governance
You know, now we are familiar with the desulfurization and denitration technology, it has to face is only SO2 and NOx, the basic properties of composition is simple, clear, clear the goal of governance, governance of industrialization at present mature technology at home and abroad has reached many dozens. There are thousands of species of VOCs that have been found in close contact with humans, and there are more than 200 species that can affect human health and cause pollution to nature. Just imagine how difficult it would be to accomplish so much pollution control! What's more, they are often mixed together, which makes it more difficult for us to govern. Therefore, in the early VOCs governance industry, there appeared the phenomenon of "laughing in and crying out". In addition, the reduction and control of VOCs national policies and regulations are not perfect, at the same time, because the technology pathway involves VOCs governance and process route, strong scientific and technical guidelines and specifications need to be specific to the governance of the VOCs for specific guidance. Therefore, VOCs emission reduction and control are still facing a situation that is not optimistic.
2.2, petrochemical industry VOCs governance characteristics
For the petrochemical industry, the emission of volatile organic waste gas will be less difficult to control. The reason is that the composition of its emission source is relatively simple, and the emission of substances and their properties are relatively clear. Therefore, the treatment process is relatively easy to choose. In addition, because these industries are relatively large, relatively strong technical force, therefore, for these industries VOCs governance, we will not be very worried. At present, mature technology has already appeared in these industries. For example, the management mechanism of LDAR (leak detection and repair), which they are promoting now, is a good example.
